🎨 Step-by-Step: Electric Zebra
1. Background
- Paint the entire canvas bright pink (you can choose any colour you like) using your large flat brush.
- While still damp, blend in hints of white for a textured effect.
- Let dry before moving on.

2. Base Stripes
- Fill the zebra’s face and body with firstly with black covering all the stripes, leaving space for the white paint to be added next.
- Don’t worry about perfection — it’s meant to feel lively and electric.

3. White Stripes
- Next add your white stripes. Again don’t try and be perfect, it has a messy look. Add white to the ears and mane too.

4. Electric Stripes
- Next add a highlighting colour of your choice to the top of the neck and down the body, down one of the legs and on the side of the face.Add purple accents along the front of the body, top of the head and ears.
- Use sweeping brush strokes to create a sense of movement and energy.
- If you want the water droplet effect running from your stripes. Load the brush with water and angle the painting so it runs down. Give it a blow if you need to!

5. Mane & Details
- Highlight the mane with a mix of pink and purple spiky strokes.
- Use a fine brush to define the eye, ear details, and muzzle.
- Add white highlights to give shine and dimension.

Step 6 – Splatter Effect
- Dip a brush into white paint.
- Flick lightly across the canvas for a galaxy-like splatter.

7. Finishing Touches
- Deepen shadows with black.
- Brighten highlights with pure white.
- Step back — check balance of colors and energy.
